1. Introduction
The Design and Technology Teacher Education Group (DTTEG) is dedicated to advancing the field of design and technology teacher education through collaboration, research, and professional development. Our mission is to support educators in fostering the creativity, innovation, and practical skills of teachers of design and technology (D&T) through preservice and in-service professional learning and development.
2. Objectives
The primary objectives of DTTEG are:

To promote excellence in D&T education.

To facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices among D&T teacher educators.

To support research and development in D&T, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment.

To advocate for the importance of the promote high quality professional learning for teachers of D&T.

3. Membership
Membership in DTTEG is open to:

Teacher educators and researchers in the field of design and technology for children and young people in compulsory schooling.

Institutions and organisations committed to the advancement of design and technology teacher education.

Educators and professionals interested in the field.
4. Activities
DTTEG engages in a variety of activities to achieve its objectives, including:

5. Governance
DTTEG is governed by a committee elected by its members. The committee is responsible for:
